Materials We Machine

Materials machined at Olympus Machining LLC span common shop alloys through high-performance aerospace, defense, and medical-grade materials, all running on the same 3-axis, multi-axis, and live-tool turning equipment from a Hanover, Pennsylvania facility. Routine aluminum work includes 6061-T6 for general structural and housing parts and 7075-T6 for higher-strength aerospace fittings and brackets. Stainless steel coverage includes free-machining 303, corrosion-resistant 304 and 316, and precipitation-hardened 17-4 PH for defense and aerospace applications. Carbon and alloy steels include 1018, 4140, and A36 for tooling and structural components. Titanium grades include CP Grade 2 for medical applications and Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V and Ti-6Al-4V ELI) for aerospace and implant work. Copper alloys include C110 electrolytic copper and free-machining brass (C360). Engineering plastics include Delrin (acetal), UHMW polyethylene, PEEK, PEEK-CF30, nylon 6/6, and polycarbonate for chemical-resistant and lightweight components. Higher-performance superalloys including Inconel 718 and Hastelloy are available for energy, oil and gas, and high-temperature aerospace components. Every material is purchased from U.S. mill-certified suppliers with documented heat-lot traceability, and material certifications travel with the part on request as part of AS9102 First Article Inspection packages, Certificates of Conformance, and CMM dimensional reports. Olympus is ITAR registered, CMMC Level 1 compliant, and CAGE-coded 9V9P0. Drawing packages (STEP, IGES, PDF) and quote requests: info@olympusmachining.com or (717) 634-5094.
